The MXR Bass Synth can support either an Aux switch, or an Expression pedal, on it's CTR jack. This fun little device lets you swap between the two! Utilize the front switch to jump between Expression Pedal mode, and Aux Switch mode.
In Expression Pedal mode, your connected TRS aux switch will be connected with the MXR Bass Synth. Press the switch again and it'll change to Aux mode, where the single button aux switch will be connected to the MXR Bass Synth

So one switch acts toggles between expression and tap, and the other switch is the “tap temp” to move between presets?
Yup, exactly! For the tall-switch, a quick press scrolls forward and a press-and-hold scrolsl backwards in presets. And both the full-size and the Mini have the same functions/behavior, just different sizes.
