Payment Processed by Stripe Or Paypal
We securely process your payment information through Stripe or PayPal, using the built-in secure channels of our eCommerce platform, WooCommerce. Your bank statement should display a transaction made to “Pedalnetics LLC” or similar.
Order lead times
As we offer many customizations of our products, orders are built by-hand at order time. You can find our current lead-time on the banner displayed on the bottom of our website (unless you've already dismissed it), as well as we'll usually reach out my email after order to say thanks and provide an update! Usually, it's between 6-10 calendar days.
Cancellations
As long as an order has not shipped yet and was not a custom order, we are happy to cancel your order for you by simply emailing us the request. However we do not personally receive refunds for payment processing fees, and therefor will deduct any such processing fees from your refunds. Sorry, but we are not paying out of our pocket for your change of mind. We are happy to provide you documentation showing the fee cost and that our net was $0 after your refund if so desired.
Product Updates
While we try and keep product photos updated, sometimes we need to make slight non-functionality-impacting changes. Whether reinforcing a wall, changing the screw type/count/location, or slight design alterations, they will not impact the location/function/overall fit of the product.
One such change as of 2024 is the inclusion of a brand plate on our products. We've seen an increase in the number of clones/fakes coming out that mimic our products, as well as had one entity purchase our products and attempt to sell them as their own overseas. This has led to both customer confusion and attempts to claim warranty on products that didn't originate from us. We will slowly be introducing our branded logos to products to help identify a genuine Pedalnetics product, and will update photos as we get time allocated.
We have 2 styles of logo's we are currently working on (You're welcome to request a specific one for your order):

3D Printing Notice
3D printers provide remarkable technology for home users, but they can have occasional issues. We create our devices using various plastic materials based on the product or purpose (PLA+, Impact-Modified PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA, etc). While we strive to maintain our printers' optimal condition, minor imperfections may occur that do not impact usability or durability, such as small bumps or slight variations in light reflection.
One common problem is “curling,” where certain printer bed surfaces may curl slightly due to temperature fluctuations. This does not affect the product's functionality or stability, but some customers may find it visually unappealing. We continuously improve our methods to minimize this issue, and we are happy to discuss options if it concerns you.
Customs and Tariffs
Customers are responsible for any customs, tariffs, or other import taxes. We will not falsify or intentionally misrepresent customs forms to avoid these charges, as it jeopardizes our business and ability to import to your country. Where we are able, we will collect and submit VAT/Taxes on your behalf to make the import process easier; VAT/Taxes will show as a separate line item on your order. If you do not see VAT and/or Taxes being collected, you will be responsible for fees at the time of import.
*Canada, you will see a special option for prepaid DDP with shipping. This is the one and only exception to seeing a separate Tax line being collected where we are able to submit on your behalf. However Canadian postal strikes cause this method to be available on and off, so if you don't see a Prepaid DDP option, it is currently not available and normal customs/duties payments to your government will be required on shipment entry into Canada.
Product Adhesive and Installation
We have extensively tested various adhesives for use with our products, and they have performed well in a range of conditions. However, we cannot account for every individual device's condition, so adhesive installation and use are ultimately at your discretion. We do not cover any warranties or repairs for personal device damage caused by the adhesive.
Shipping Concerns
We will do our best to monitor shipping statuses, but customers are responsible for tracking their orders and addressing any necessary actions (customs payments, undeliverable addresses, etc.). If a shipping error is our fault, we will cover the reshipping cost. If the error is the customer's fault (e.g., unpaid customs fees, incorrect address), the customer is responsible for reshipping fees. If an order is not reshipped due to a customer error, we will refund the total amount minus shipping and payment processing fees.
Warranty and Returns
We stand by the quality of our products and components, and we expect them to perform well under normal usage conditions. If you experience any issues during regular use, please contact us. We are dedicated to keeping our customers satisfied. We provide a standard 1 year parts & labor warranty on products, but are happy to discuss orders beyond that timeframe as well.
If you are unhappy with a product and wish to return it, please reach out to us. For items returned within 14 days of delivery due to no longer being needed, customers are responsible for payment processing fees, outbound shipping, return shipping and a 15% restocking fee.
