Our Audition Switches contain 4 TRS jacks as well as provide a 2.1mm power pass-thru jack! When nothing is plugged into the send/return jacks, your signal will pass through the Input and Output jacks unaffected. Whenever you're ready to try out a pedal, or drop a volume pedal into your signal loop, just plug into the Send/Return jacks and off you go!
The internal switches will slowly be removed or changed from this product as I rewire/redesign it, because there is no actual need for them in their current design. The jacks will connect TRS everywhere, even if you only use a mono cable (that just means the Ring is grounded)

*This does not actually NEED power, the 2.1mm power jacks are there simply as an easy way to have a pass-thru jack ready-to-go for the switch you're auditioning.

Is it possible to have the output buffered? I think I need to use a “Y” cable(TRS to 2 Mono). The signal going to the “return” would be Mono, so im splitting a mono signal towards 2 different sources. I know there can be signal loss splitting a mono signal in 2 unless it’s buffered. No, this does not have the ability to be buffered, it is a mechanical-only circuit.
