The great thing about pedal manufacturing is there's a handful of “standard” sizes, mostly made by Hammond Manufacturing. The Broughton Always-On-HPF and Buffer Bandwidth Amplifier are no exceptions: they both use a Hammond 1590a, which is about as small as you get in premanufactured cases of that rectangular shape. And for the large majority of the users, that's absolutely perfect (myself included, I have a AOHPF under my board!).
But what if you could have a custom enclosure that exactly fits your pedal/product, leaving no wasted space? That's what we've been able to do for these pedals: Make a custom-fit case, letting you take advantage of every inch of pedalboard space you have!
Don't mind the 1590a size, but just want a way to hang-mount it between your pedalboard rails? We've got you covered there too!
- Mod A: A 1mm face-plate for your existing 1590a, that'll let you hang it between Pedaltrain rails. We'll ask for your gap-size, and how much overhang onto the rails you want. Note that for smaller/lower Pedaltrain boards, there's often not enough “height” to do this, but there is for our Mod C model! Photos included in our gallery.
- Mod B: A rehouse for the HPF and/or the BBA Pedal in a snap-tight lid enclosure. We've been able to shrink the enclosure to 53% of the original size based on rough volumetric calculations and 26% of the original weight based on my kitchen scale!
- Mod C: The best of both worlds! A rehousing enclosure, with a hanging faceplate! Due to the enclosures smaller size, this lets you hang the HPF or BBA between the rails on lower-height pedalboards, like the Pedaltrain Nano
