We've sourced the smallest reliable SPST footswitches we could find and squeezed them into a small enclosure specially designed just for them! We were able to shrink this so small, we've chosen to move to pre-wired pigtails of either a male or female 1/4″ TRS adapter. Since we didn't have to fit a 1/4″ jack into the enclosure, it was shrunk to fit these footswitches as best as possible. However we did leave it a with little bit of extra room between switches so it wasn't too hard to trigger.
The blue enclosure in the photos is a standard 1590a enclosure, what most small dual-aux switches are made from.
