PodExpress AuxPlate 2XL

Our new AuxPlate 2XL expands our side-area to both edges (not just the right-side like our XL)!  Extending both directions, a 83mm wide x 158mm deep (3 1/4″ wide x 6.25″ deep) space on each side included pre-made holes for the 2 most common small volume pedals we see in-use: The Dunlop DVP4 & the Sonicake Vexpress pedals. Simply remove the factory-screws & bottom plates from these units, and utilize those same screws to mount your expression pedal to the plate! Of course you can also use velcro for these pedals too and/or any other volume pedals that'll fit in this area.

With the freedom to place your volume pedal on either side, you can utilize the same space on the other side for <whatever you desire>! A tuner, a DI box, an Altoids tin of picks, the possiblities are endless within a limited space!

Adding only 1/4″ to the overall height, and 1.1″ to the front, our AuxPlate for the PodExpress gives you 2 extra footswitches in the most convenient after-market way possible that makes it feel like part of the unit! The wire itself is ran through a cable-channel within the plate, with the rear TRS jack modified to allow the cable to exit the plate and plugin to the PodExpress with minimal exposure/bulge/height added.

We've utilized the factory-screw holes on the bottom of the PodExpress and by using longer screws of the same type, we're able to attach the AuxPlate to the bottom for a grab-and-go unit. We'll include 4 of the longer-screws required for this product.

And don't worry, we left access to the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit as well!

Please note: Line6 decided to use plastic-threads with thread-cutting-metal-screws in the PodExpress unit, as it wasn't meant for constant disassembling/reassembling. While I myself have tried to rip the AuxPlate off my PodExpress to see how much damage I could cause and was unable to do any or pull the thing apart with my bare hands, ultimately this is your decision to use/install/abuse

PodExpress AuxPlate Install

Note: The PodExpress has plastic-standoffs, with thread-cutting screws. The process outlined below should be done with a hand-screwdriver, and NOT a power-drill/cordless-screwdriver of any sort. Take your time, and as your tightening it's better to tighten a little, check for wiggle, and repeat, than over-tighten. Set your PodExpress face down, and remove the 4 screws on the bottom (mine are already removed in this photo): Tilt the plate, and plugin the Aux plate as seen below: Then simply lay the plate down onto the back of your PodExpress, and use the included longer-screws to install the plate to your PodExpress
