Please note: PortaStomp is probably one of the most complex things we're currently offering. As such, it will take longer than our normal stated build times. For complete transparency, we've put together a “queue” page to see how many orders are in queue, how long they've been in queue, and where yours currently is at. At first we'll be building 1-2 a week to get more units into the field. While we've done extensive beta testing, there's always gotchas somewhere and so this slow-roll will allow us to spend time gathering personalized feedback from the first customers.

- What is this?
- It's the PortaStomp! A USBC Battery Pack powered tiny board for your HXStomp, making it nice and compact for quick load-ins/load-outs and not even requiring a power outlet! (Great for busking too!)
- What does it run off of?
- Any USBC Power Delivery 45w+ capable battery pack, although you'll probably want one of the compatible ones listed above so it sits inside the bottom compartment and lets you see the battery percentage remaining through the battery door view slot
- How long does it run?
- We constantly use the recommended 20,000mah power supply above, and average a bit over 6hours. The 25,000mah should average 7.5hours. We'll continue searching for larger capacity banks that fit nicely.
- Note that the HXStomp does draw different amounts of power based on effects being used, anywhere from 800ma to 1100ma, so your run-time will be dependent on your effects as well as if you're using the external jack to power a wireless unit like a GLXD16.

- What if my battery dies?
- You can either swap in another battery pack, or inside the USB Access Door is a USBC to USBC female coupler; You can use this to connect your PortaStomp to any USBC Power Delivery wall charger capable of at least 45W output.
- What is the power jack on the side for by the input?
- You can use this to run any external pedal, most commonly a wireless unit! It is standard pedalboard power (9vdc center-negative 5.5×2.1mm) capable of power up to 1amps
- How do I turn it On/Off?
- Near the rear on the left side is a master Power switch, that will turn on/off all outputs with a single switch.
- Note: If you are connecting an external pedal, everything needs to be plugged in before turning the PortaStomp Power Unit on. Plugging something into the side output jack post-power-on will result in the unit shutting down to prevent over-draw.
- I pushed the power button and it seems to “lag”/takes 2 seconds to turn on
- This is expected behavior. We've added a decent bit of intelligence into the power circuitry to prevent over-current and ensure outputs are only turned on when between acceptable voltages (~8.9v – ~9.1v)
- What is this made out of?
- The PortaStomp is 3D Printed out of a tough plastic material, the same we use for almost all of our products.
- Can I use my Helaux Duo / Mini / Mini Pro along with the FrontAux MIDI?
- Absolutely! The FrontAux MIDI goes into the side MIDI jack, while the Helauxy would plugin to the rear Aux jack
- Why do you not sell/provide the battery packs with the unit?
- Shipping Lithium Ion batteries can get tricky, and especially limits our export abilities. Rather than deal with the logistics nightmare of it, we've provided links above to known compatible (i.e. fits inside the bottom of the unit) battery packs for you to purchase yourself
- My battery pack doesn't seem to be turning off when I turn off the power button?
- Some battery packs have power-off delays, however if you've replaced our provided USB-C cable internally that may also be the issue. Not all USB-C cables are designed the same
