Can the Strymon Favorite Switch be offered in the anodized metal enclosure?
It cannot, the sales numbers at the current time have not justified the overhead for having custom anodized enclosures ordered. That said, the 3D Printed enclosure is plenty durable/strong and has not failed yet, as there's minimal actual force being exerted on the enclosure itself.

Sorry but how does it work? Can I save a Strymon Sunset preset?
Yes, you can use this for external access to a saved preset on the Sunset. Page9 of the Sunset manual provides a bit more detail: https://www.strymon.net/manuals/Sunset_UserManual_RevC.pdf

Does it have all of the functionality of the Strymon MiniSwitch (i.e., works with tap tempo as well)?
This switch is only for Favorite usage, as it's too small of a device to fit multi-function circuitry into. If you're looking for Tap Tempo our MiniRemote with a Momentary Normally Open switch is what you'd need for Tap Tempo
