Included with your Helauxy purchase was a few pieces of double-sided adhesive, or a single template-cut adhesive.
*2022/03/23 – I've switched to using 3M VHB adhesive. It comes off cleaner, and holds stronger than the foam adhesive I was using. VHB stands for “Very High Bonding”, and is meant to be a very very strong bonding tape for the adhesion of two materials. The small amount used here has allowed it to still be removed and cleaned up, but it holds strong even inside a pedalboard bag/getting banged around.
This decision came after months of testing different materials, including leaving devices/tape/etc in the sun, then removing and reapplying new adhesives/removing any/all residue necessary.
However at the end of the day, the devices you are attaching these to are your own property. I cannot guarantee the cleanliness/condition of your devices before-hand, and how that may play into the adhesion and removal of our products. What I can say is I've had many customers, and myself, adhere and remove our products multiple times without issue, but you are ultimately responsible for making the decision to apply our provided adhesive, or search out other means yourself.
