MiniRemote
You would need a Momentary Normally Open switch, and just a TS cable (or the TS end on my MiniRemote)

You could however use the 4th onboard footswitch for that, and potentially offload (whatever you're currently using it for) to an external footswitch. Here's the snippet from the manual about the available modes for that 4th footswitch + the 2 external-connectable footswitches:

Works perfectly as a Strymon EC-1 tap tempo. I stacked it right on top of the pedal which gives it a little height difference from the EC-1’s bypass switch. Makes it easier to not accidentally stomp on the wrong switch.
Absolutely love the mini remote one button switch to be used with my Specular Tempus as a favorite switch! Everything’s working perfectly!
