DIm Stick

$79.00

DIm(ono) Stick is rocking a transformer from Unagi Magnetics, which is the house-brand from our friends over at SushiBoxFX!  This is the same transformer they use in the tube-based Finally DI and the Venus Z. The frequency response is the flattest we’ve seen out of multiple transformers, which makes this DI perfect for any instrument you throw at it.

With a ~15db pad, phase-flip, and ground-lift at your fingertips, we’ve isolated all inputs/outputs/switches to one-face of the device so you can tuck it away against walls/under pedalboards, or even under a pedal like a riser.

We wanted a DI box with all I/O on a single face, and couldn't find one that met our needs and thus, the DIm(ono) Stick was born!

  1. The DIm Stick fits on my pedalboard much better than any of the other DI boxes I was considering. Construction and components appear high quality. If it colors the sound at all, it’s a pleasing coloration.

  2. I’ve been using a DIm Stick several times a week for about 6 months now, and can say that it sounds great and is built like a tank. I like it so much, I recently bought a second one just to have for other situations as they come up. I had been looking at other high-end passive DIs when I stumbled onto pedalnetics. I’m glad I did. Jason is a great guy and completely backs his products. I highly recommend!

  4. Quality construction (much sturdier than I expected actually) and works as expected. I have not yet experienced the transistor mojo but I bought this JUST IN CASE I need a DI out…..

Is it passive? If so, what would happen if it was unintentionally fed +48v by FOH? EG asked on December 26, 2025

Yes this is a passive transformer-based DI. There should be no issues/damage should it accidentally be fed 48v

Pedalnetics answered on December 26, 2025 store manager

Yes it is passive. Phantom power does not cause issues for transformer-based DI boxes. I've fed mine with Phantom power on my bench for testing plenty of times
