I’m extremely happy with my new volume roller! It has a minuscule footprint and the build quality is the toughest 3d print that I’ve seen. I have no worries about having it on the front corner of my board. Jason was great to deal with and communication was top notch. Will be buying more from Jason in the future.

I thought I needed a dual switch for my stomp but wanted to still use the expression jack for a volume pedal then stumbled upon that wonder ! There’s more than meets the eye too with it’s différents modes and the fact you can click both switches to do something different too, it’s just brilliant! Jason spent a good amount of time helping me figure out the right way for me to use it and also helped a bunch by custom tailoring the firmware of my device. Absolutely recommend !

  3. This is such a great midi switch. It really opens up a lot possibilities for controlling my HX Stomp without taking up any additional real estate on my pedalboard. It also frees up the HX Stomp expression jack so that I can use an expression pedal. Just plain awesome!

  4. So far, so good! I've had it for several weeks now. Works great and as advertised. This product totally fills a functionality gap in the HX One. I found the built-in way to scroll through effects quite annoying…I can't read that small text when I'm standing up! This solves that problem. The additional angled footswitches are designed very well. I've had no issues accidentally hitting the main footswitches above them…and I have size 14 feet! As long as it stands the test of time, 5 out of 5 stars.

  5. The DIm Stick fits on my pedalboard much better than any of the other DI boxes I was considering. Construction and components appear high quality. If it colors the sound at all, it's a pleasing coloration.

  8. Jason built a custom eight switch StatLight for me which I use with an MC6 Pro. The addition of status lights is a game changer when playing live.

Plug the StatLight into Omni 1 on the MC6 Pro to trigger presets (set this port to Resistor Ladder Switch in controller settings) and connect the 3.5 mm MIDI Out from the MC6 Pro to the 3.5 mm MIDI In on the StatLight to control the lights. Default is MIDI Channel 14 which you can change.

Then add a couple of CC messages for ON/OFF states on MC6 Pro presets to control light brightness and colour. Once you understand the logic, it’s super simple.

The CC number determines which light comes on and the brightness. The first digit represents the switch (in my case, switches 1 to 8) and the second digit sets brightness (0 = off, 1 to 9 = brightness level).

For example, CC 89 turns on switch 8 at full brightness (9), while CC 81 sets switch 8 to its dimmest level (1), perfect for an OFF state.

    The CC value sets the colour, which you can adjust to taste. Some examples I used: Red = 1, Orange = 9, Yellow = 18, Green = 35, Cyan = 48, Blue = 55, Magenta = 85, White = 125.

So, to make switch 8 show bright green when on (Toggle Position 1 on the MC6 Pro), set CC 89 with a value of 35.
To leave it dim when off (Toggle Position 2), set CC 81 (1 is dim) with the same value of 35 (green).

Super happy with the build quality, the thick, durable 3D printed housing means you can get exactly what you want when you go custom.

Jason, you’re a legend, thanks for your time, great work and follow-up support. To everyone else, don’t hesitate.

  9. Works perfectly as a Strymon EC-1 tap tempo. I stacked it right on top of the pedal which gives it a little height difference from the EC-1's bypass switch. Makes it easier to not accidentally stomp on the wrong switch.
